I have a doubt.
I am on Airtel Broadband 1199Rs plan which is 4mbps and 15gb usage.
And while enquiring the retailer he said that you can browse unlimited and we just count the limit only for download. And so 15gb is enough for you.
Actually i browse a lot and stream videos.
I have used 3g till yesterday and they count the browsing usage too.
And also what happens if i am capped to 256kbps. Do i get browsing speed also capped to 256kbps?

I feel so bad and good at same time when i see such post. In 1099 rs Reliance 4mbps unlimited its like daily 20GB+ for me. Try Reliance 1mbps unlimited if available there at 549rs and reduce this airtel plan to 699 something imo.
So sad that Airtel doesn't have any good plans yet in broadband....

u r right man ... they dont have any plans which are free of fup..s this is so frustrating that's why i switched to bsnl... from airtel

Around a year back, I wanted to disconnect my connection, so they offered me a retention plan( Rs. 550 for 512 kbps unlimited connection + normal iptv charge). After their FUP policy got introduced, it was changed to 2 Mbps for 10GB + 256 kbps. Now, I want to increase the data limit for my plan to 30GB. Will I have to forego the discount( of maybe Rs.300) that I currently get, in order to get the new plan, or will it be adjusted in the new plan?

I do not think you get the benefits of a retention plan if you decide to change your plan.

call again @ 121 and tell them to disconnect the connection because u r not getting suitable plan.
they may offer u some better plan.

Do they really provide some benefits if i also ask them to disconnect? Like FUP limit increase to 1mbps or atleast 512kbps ?

good luck getting them to increase your fuped speeds to anything more than 256kbps.

Do they have same 1099 plan for chennai ?

Yes. If Reliance Broadband is available in your locality, this plan should be available as well.
