Connection activated about an hour ago. Speeds seem OK with the usual caveats. Anything you guys want me to test? I'll try posting whatever I can.

Here's some single connection (single thread) speedtest results to various servers across the globe on the 1 gbps plan:

This one from Oslo, Norway (Telenor server) is amazing:

This is the Amsterdam RETN single connection test but over my phone Wi-Fi 6 which gets nearly 800 single and 900 multi connection both up and down to local Pune Tata server.

I'll post the other proper results when I get to my computer later tonight.

On desktop:

Couple of runs on Chrome on Win11 insider dev/beta edition:

Couple of runs on Edge on same OS:

Now I don't remember if I ran those earlier multiple tests to different places on Edge or Chrome (Edge showing lowwww upload speeds).

Repeating the tests to Stockholm/Sweden and Oslo/Norway both on Telenor servers:

On Edge:

On Chrome:

OK now I think I remember I was switching between the browsers in my initial post with the long list of speedtest results and I guess the low uploads were on Edge browser.

I will redo those bunch of speedtests on Linux and also try IPv6 but I don't think the latter made much difference when I briefly tried yesterday.

On linux the single thread download of hetzner 10GB.bin file hovers around 150 mbps using axel tool.

On Chrome: https://ultra.cc/network-tools/speedtest/1d1b4430-82f8-4d19-a71c-627f906d9445
On FF: https://ultra.cc/network-tools/speedtest/c5976e76-b6dd-4ce3-ad8b-9fcf1108e06b

So both seem about the same.

Here's a few more speedtests on Linux:

On Chrome/FF (similar results):

London Swish Fiber server:

Oslo/Norway Telenor server:

Stockholm/Sweden Telenor server:

I just realised I'm running a custom linux kernel (xanmod.org) optimised for my AMD Zen2 CPU but will reboot into regular kernel and retest.

@Lolita_Magnum yes, eventually I plan to downgrade the Tata plan and settle with either 3 ISPs each 300 mbps (PDPL, Microscan and Tata) and load balance them on my TP-Link ER605 router, or if PDPL does not implement IPv6 by the time my plan ends with them, I'll not renew and settle with Microscan and Tata at 500 mbps each.

I feel 300 is the sweet spot and load balancing them over 3 ISPs is probably the best balance of price-performance ratio (VFM) to get the max, instead of trying to rely on single ISP 1gbps plan and trying multiple connection downloads with just 1 ISP.

If, after trying out this combination for some time, even the multiple ISP option does not perform well, then my last hope rests on a 5G FWA home broadband device load balanced with a single ISP (either Tata or Microscan depending on which works better for me) and hope that too results in combined load balanced speed of close to 1 gbit LOL.
