Dont ask me man. That's what I explained to them on 121...that it was Airtel's call centre which told me my residential area network was "upgraded" (BS!) and it would now be possible to upgrade to 1 gig..will silly me bit the bait 2 weeks back and it took them 5 days to change the plan and now 10 days after that it's back to 300 Mbps. Well, TBH, it's their loss. As for me I am never going to upgrade again unless they can demonstrate 1 gig.
According to the technician, another customer was getting worse speeds..just 150-200 mbps. I told him sarcastically "As if that makes me feel better". Only "good news" I received from him was that Airtel has restarted giving new connections in my area. Big deal!
