@rajat_ he's already shared speedtests earlier. Check them out.

@rajat_ my bad... Will try to remember to post steam results tonight.

Here's the deal with torrents.

I noticed that qbittorrent has a libtorrent option "don't allow multiple incoming connections from same IP" which leads me to believe that people facing poor torrent speeds is due to ipv4 cgnat since popular torrent possible has many ISP customers from same public facing IP being throttled.

I hardly get full 1gbps just around 600mbps or so max with single popular public torrent but multiple torrent approach 1gbps.

I also noticed if I enable ipv6 then I get full speed even with a single torrent but not reliably.

@rajat_

Tried downloading 2 games on steam - DukeNukemForever and ApexLegends. First one started at 50 mbps and went up to 350 mbps and then mostly hovered between 150 and 250 mbps. Second was hovering between 500 and 650 mbps with occasional peaks around 750 mbps.

@rajat_ you need to have the ONT switched to bridge mode and then connect your own router and configure it appropriately. TPBB techs will change the ONT to bridge mode for you. Raise a request. I've been on bridge mode since day 1.

@rajat_ I just cloned GPON password and GPON SN which was visible in my Genexis ONU Web GUI. Else GPOn password is 1234567890 and GPON SN is mentioned on the back of Genexis router. I don’t know if it is present at the back of Nokia router too.

TP-Link V1 ONU has VLAN scan function which fetched my VLAN. These are the only 3 things that are needed to authenticate any ONU on Tata Play for PPPoE connection. Of course you need your PPPoE credentials too.

TP-Link XZ000-G3 V1 performs identical or slightly better compared to my earlier Genexis ONU. I can access ONU page even in bridge mode. ONU has IP 192.168.0.1 and my Asus Router has IP 192.168.1.1

ONU and Router have to be on different IP ranges to be accessible.

I have a V2 for sale but it needs a firmware update to work with 1Gbps connection.

@phattunit how are you getting above 940 mbps on speedtest? I get max 940 wired via their standard Nokia 2425 router.
