I removed their HDMI and connected with my Denon home Theatre HDMI which was 18K gold plated, further i am getting nice clarity... Letz see he said he will change my SD box and see the difference....
Please ignore stuff like "gold Plated", etc....it's just a Marketing gimmick to fool customers. If you don't believe what I am saying then refer to HDMI
Gold Plated cables only make good connectors, that too in the long run. However, the upfront cost for a gold plated cable is high enough and it *does not* compensate/offset for the uncoated cable.

Need Clarification (Who use HD Service)
Is that HD Box comes with Bigger dish 90 cm or the same dish used for SD 60cm? If they provide bigger dish that can be pickup better signals in the cloudy/rainy times.....
I ordered an HD connection today (non DVR) and I was told that you can differentiate the dish by looking at the logo on it. If its meant for HD then it will have HD marked on the dish. I have spoken to customer care atleast 3 times till now and nobody mentioned about the large size dish being available. I guess, if we are buying a product we also need to trust the opposite party to begin with. It's only when they start making fool out of us should we up the ante.
Personally speaking, if I order an HD connection and the guy turns up with a dish that has HD clearly marked on it then I should not worry. The next thing I should be looking into is how to get the best Signal and Quality strength. Again, this is just my opinion and may vary with what others think.

I saw the deal while Upgrading they give Rs.1,000/- credit to our Account.
I dont know if there is a online deal.... The person who came today told me that if i pay Rs.1,690 + 1,000 (Installation) = Rs.2,690/- I will get HD Box with 1 month HD Subscription.... is there better deal in online? can u paste me the link?
I will try and simplify your query since my experience has been very recent-
1) HD connection - Non DVR
2690/- HD STB and Installation Charges
less 400/- Cash Discount in your account
less 441/- Platinum HD pack for a month
Effective Cost of HD Hardware = 1849/-
2) HD-DVR connection
3990/- HD-DVR STB
500/- Installation
Total Cost = 4490/-

Moral of the story in my opinion -> If you get more benefits by being a new customer, then order it in such a way as if you need a fresh connection. The only thing that will change is your Customer ID and that, in my opinion, does not make a difference. So, if you are already a D2H customer,but if you find that the Entry Offers are good only for new customers, then be a new customer.
If you are getting good offers by upgrading, then better upgrade rather than ordering a new connection.

@ Mascot....Dont have the ability to notice such differences. I can notice only drastic ones! About the size of ur dish.....i think u ordered Zapper first & then HD DVR. So with Zapper u shud have got 65cm. Now the only question that comes is - did those guys bring a new dish when u upgraded? If not, then u r pretty much on 65cm dish & getting 100% on that is just awesome!
