@pkarthik24 ,
Just to clarify, on the newer HD box which he has temporarily given to you, are you satisfied with the SD channels PQ on it ? And the signal levels are the same on both the boxes. Right ?

@ pkarthikYa. Are you satisfied with SD channels with D2H HD box / it shows same quality like your SD box? What are clearity %? Do you think they are good in HD channels if you have an HD TV?What is size of HD DTH dish antenna / they use ur old D2H antenna?

i took that and sent to him.... he said he is supposed to receive 15 STB today, once he get that he will replace it... letz see...

My Comment to D2H is

D2H should have the updated STB to get right PQ in the LCD/LED compatible, Not all users will choose HD Box's.... hope they understand this...

The Strength/Quality Signal % are same as they use my existing line only...

Same Dish as as the existing line used

So, now no more talking with illiterate goon type engineers. I hope you must have taken the Area Manager number. Get in touch with him directly. :)

Actually i was having his number stored... I hope u guys remember my thread of https://broadband.forum/videocon-d2h-dth/68879-videocon-address-change-issue/ In this He is the guy who helped me to sort out this issue... I forget that i stored his number... yesterday while he called me it was displayed with is name....

CONCLUTION IS

Whoever using LCD/LED should(compulsory) use HD Boxes to get the correct PQ... with SD the PQ in the LCD/LED is very BAD...

Its called HDMI effect, but still the sole motto is not achieved which is 100% Quality and 90% Strength.

I removed their HDMI and connected with my Denon home Theatre HDMI which was 18K gold plated, further i am getting nice clarity... Letz see he said he will change my SD box and see the difference....

I think there can be 2 things here (Either 1, or both)1) That they have something different for HD users. Coz in the beginning, they cudnt even give non-HD packages on HD boxes. Its after 1.5-2 months that they were able to provide. So theres some differences involved in here. Not able to pinpoint it.2) Ur box itself was faulty. may be u will get good clarity with a replaced SD box as well. And still u r anyways going to buy an HD connection, so u can buy their connection. Coz now u have this guy's number, which can be helpful for u. U may not be having the contact of the Area Head of the new DTH u buy.

defenetly i am thinking of buying their connection... After watching the HD Channels (in my lunch hours) I am not able to watch the SD Channels... it looks sick... Anway i am getting addicted to HD.... Now there is no need of HD DVR... so i will buy one HD Box after 10th... i hope soon we will get Portability for DTH also soon that time better DVR can be bought...

Need Clarification (Who use HD Service)

Is that HD Box comes with Bigger dish 90 cm or the same dish used for SD 60cm? If they provide bigger dish that can be pickup better signals in the cloudy/rainy times.....

Wait bro pkarthik

Early there is reliance TV HD claiming 250 Semi HD channels are providing by them but I never watch demo to check the reality. If you can do you will be happy if it is true. Dont know how many channels they offer real HD. You are talking about just HD not DVR thats why I suggest you this. Before you buy you check RDTV HD too. Its just available with RDTV HD not with RDTV DVR. If you check both HD boxex picture quality you take decision which will better for you. But as RDTV claiming that is good deal to viewers to join to RDTV HD (not DVR) to get 250 HD ready channel if it is true. Take decision on your responsibility.

Early IndinM mentioned that never buy a D2H HD box instead of that buy a DVR. He told that there is not option of a cable. I dont remind now but he mentioned & he is too true. Take advice about this from Indianmoscot if you have that type type of tv then its okk
