Ohh !! thats a nice thing. Now I will ensure that engineer who is coming for Installation configures the things in such a way that I would be getting signal strength > 80%.

This happens. They deliver the box to u, and later in the day, or the next day, they come for installing the product.Generally the technicians are very particular about signal strength, so u need not worry. But yeah, do keep an eye on it, that they dont just install "For the sake of it", without caring for the strength. WHen they had come at my place, the guys took around 2-3 hours adjusting for signal, and finally their senior came to set things right.

Still got no calls, looks like they are doing good business and I would be in queue Thanks for the info buddy. Would sure keep an eye on the Engineer . Now one question is coming to my mind. Wht should be the signal strength for best reception. I know it should be 100% , but I am sure no one would be getting that.

I think there r 2 bars.......Signal Strength & Signal Quality.And most probably the "Quality" shud be 100%. Strength can be around 80-90%. Since u have opted for HD, Quality shud be 100%. Thats what their engineer told me.For the installation call, i think u can even call up D2honline. Since u r in Mumbai, it shud be a local call for u.......

Thanks for the usefull info.I called them yesterday only on the local number provided by them. They told me that within 72 hrs of Purchase, someone will call me for Installation. So, waiting for their call. Not bothering them at this time bcoz I would be available at home only in evening. So, even though they call, I have to given then instructions to come after 6:00 PM only .

All these days d2h guys keep committing me for installation, but failed to Install. Hope its Installed today. Now this is irritating me .

my installation was done in 24hrs, the weather was fine then no rains for 4-5days so was good for them, they don't install the dish during the rains so its also the weather creating delays..

Yes, I can understand that. When I rised my Voice on them Yesterday evening for delay in Installation, they at 8:00 PM engineer called me for Installation. I realised that its quite late and that guy had to travel to Borivili . So, I asked him to come today . Lets see. Would keep posted here .

u could have done it, my installation was done in 40mins, i installed the dish outside my balcony. I guess getting wiring from up to down might take more time..
