Videocon D2H HD DVR User Experience and Review

So apart from TenHD and Colors HD are there any more HD channels planning to start and will they be available in D2H? Also after the addition of Colors HD will the Platinum HD package's price go up or will it remain the same? Also can you guys suggest a good 2.1 or 5.1 PC speaker system at a decent price 'cause I want to use the current PC speakers for the TV. Like from Creative or Logitech for somewhere around 4k.

We shud name u "Question mark"... Just Kidding mate!For ur questions.......Ten HD or Colors HD or Neo HD. Either of these 3 might be there. No 1 is sure which will come. BUT 1 THING IS CERTAIN - ONLY 1 OF THEM WILL COME. And the rumors are more tilting towards Colors HD. We just have to wait till tomorrow to know what has been added. Keep an eye on few other threads in the section. I guess Mascot will update at night after checking. I go to sleep early, so i wont be updating before tommorow morning.Next.....IDEALLY the price of package shud remain the same. Even IDEALLY, it shud be added to Platinum HD pack by default. Coz its not any Hotcake, that they can sell it separately to make abnormal gains. But u never know what policy they make at what time. It will be clear only after the channel is launched.Lastly, speakers......u shud get a really decent set of speakers in that range. Coz when i bought my set, Philips 5.1, it costed me around 4.2k. And it is a decent one, gives reasonably good sound. If 1.75 years back, i cud get this thing for 4.2k, u cud get far better thing in that range. Now what exactly u get, needs some serious research.

I dont remember the model number. And i need to dig out the user manual provided with it if i want to post it here. So that again, unfortunately goes to weekend.

How about this one? This thing had an old 2.1 model too(MMS430). May be yours is a 5.1 version of that one. The below shown one is the latest from Philips. If it is similar to yours then please comment on its sound quality.

No. Mine is pretty simple looking set actually. A black rectangular box, with the small hollow in front, a blue LED light at its top, situated as if its a Tilak to the Woofer! And simple looking 5 satellites.

Hasn't D2H moved to new ST2 satellite? So we could expect more channels, both SD and HD, couldn't we? Any news on that.

My DVR services is not active. I contact the engineer but just only remind to his demo man & demo man not follow his reminder. I tried to speak with cc persons but they dont response well & told me that did u ask shopper before buy a dvr that is it comes with recording facility? I told him that I see d2h info channel & they often mention this feature & never mention check this facility avail with dvr but he dinied. Now I think to complain this to TRAI. bap of them. I sent an email to them but still after 35 hours & not got any response.
