Theres no harm in me giving the ids to u. But r u sure, u dont have any way left? The only concern i see is, that if u go to TRAI for every issue u face, then they will hardly have any effect. I can understand ur frustration, but u can just reprimand the engineer by saying that "I will go to TRAI if u dont activate the service for me. Few people have even lost their jobs, when TRAI detected the lazyness in their work."Usko itna raag de, wo apne aap seedha ho jayega! :DDo let me know if it doesnt work out. He had already taken TRAI mail ids from me on PM. God knows what he wants and I can never understand his expectation from a DTH Provider. :cyclops:
 
Activating recording should be such a simple thing when you call the CC. I did not understand what the fuss was all about?
 
Demo man & their telephone cc person didnt response me. What is more Demo man took already two week late from installed D2H connection. I wrote to D2H & TRAI. Lets see what happen. Jaimin I missed the chance to warn about TRAI to the engineer but its mandetory now to write to TRAI. DVR Services are not active yet & two weeks already past.
 
@Max what does the CC say when you ask them to activate recording? When you have bought a DVR and you have activated a monthly pack, what is the issue? Please note that you should have recharged with a minimum of one month value of money in order for them to activate recording.
 
Bro, If you had mentioned your recording issue on d2h facebook wall along with your customer id, it would have gt activated within 2 hours. d2h is very active on facebook and twitter.Its a very small issue to be escalated to TRAI. Also TRAI interferes only in those cases where QOS had been followed. And I am sure you still haven't mailed your issue to d2h Nodal Team.
 
I recharge a/c by Rs. 165. When I talk to cc he told me that it is not available with your DVR & Did I ask shopkeeper is that DVR comes with Recording facility? I told him I watch D2H info channel many times & they mention how to record with DVR but they never mention that be confirm about recording facility when buying DVR & I also told him that I received a manual with The DVR where they mentioned how to record content with that DVR. Still he refuses for the services. I told him return my money & take back the DVR or active service. I refused & finished call by mistake / by him without file a complaint.

No nodal team but I wrote to [email protected]. Is this not right issue for TRAI that they being late & refuses to active the service? Even here is a member called videocon d2h team. I think he read this post definitely otherwise I complain this to him.

Hold on Hold On !!!If you have an DVR, then recording facility must be activated. Have you followed the same with the engineer who had came for installation. Anyways call on 022-42000555. They will help you in Recording facility activation.Secondly, why are you talking about Rs 165 all these times. No money is required for activation of recording facility.
 
@ JaiminDo you think this is right case for TRAI if you read my explanation?@ I MI will do that. Final way to make call on that no. I mention recharge amount for the information.Thanks.
 
@IndianMascot The base pack has to be activated. i.e your account should have some money before recording is activated. I had not recharged my D2h for 2 days after installation as I was still deciding on which package to go for and also whether to go for annual recharge. So for first 2 days, my balance was in negative and recording was not activated. Once I recharged and called CC, they immediately activated the recording.@Max ... Firstly please cool down bro.. :) Dont shout at the CC guys and hang up. They are poor chaps who go by what is shown in their system. Looks like there has been a goof up and your STB is not showing up as a DVR in their system. So call CC. Tell them you bought DVR and want recording to be activated. If they say its not DVR, ask them to take down a complaint and give you a complaint number. Then follow up with them using the complaint number. Also register yourself on D2h web page and you can see your STB status online. When you login to D2h, it also shows if recording is active or not.
