VLC Media Player Updates

I have v1.1.11 but when I check for new updates it says that I am using the latest version!

they are probably not pushing the update automatically to prevent server meltdown.

Found PotPlayer better than VLC 2.0100 times better.

try umplayer. no need to install any codec etc. portable version too for win , linux , osx. plays every damn thing including youtube videos right through the interface.

The only feature which I need is to display subtitles in black space below the movie. Somehow I failed to make that work in VLC 2.0 and my encoded 1080p Inception movie plays stuttery on TV over HDMI and DTS Audio passthrough.

Everything just works as promised in PotPlayer X64

Its available directly form their site but thru the s/w its giving an error. I have downloaded it just now.
