Strange. My airtel Mumbai sim card works fine on 3G in Haryana, tested this past December. Sim was bought in November.

Yep. Deduction from data pack. In any case, best would be to test it out yourself. Get a new prepaid sim and use it whenever you go roaming. If all works out all, you have your answer.

Strange. My airtel Mumbai sim card works fine on 3G in Haryana, tested this past December. Sim was bought in November.It will work but network would be idea or vodafone not airtel, these are made to work in such a way that it show airtel in caps even when u latched to other network.Like my reliance 2g sim show reliance in caps even when i know it is latched to aircel network.

I got 3g when I was in Jaipur, Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai. I guess these are the only places I visited in last 1 year.

In Delhi VF has 3G license so not an issue. Only fishy point is the time i.e. last year. The HC ban also came last year so could your usage be before that ?
