Dinner is what we do everyday, looking forward to hopefully meet the right people and share concerns and complaints in a hope they will improve!It was a very very surprising call from Vodafone. I am still surprised by this move.............

^^^Dinner at Orchid is no big deal yaar, even if they hold a conference in Vodafone House, it would be fine.But this is the first time when a telecom operator is holding such a conference for customers to improve their services, even Orange never had such meetings, even though they were the best in Customer Service......

ok then.dine at home.but im also surprised that they called one of their cust. 4 cnfrence.might be...........the wanna improve.

may be the senior mgmt. want's to get real feedback of customers.. it looks promising that major service improvements may be on the cards...can't wait to see rollout of 3G , 4G services & battle of titans ( Vodafone & Bharti Airtel) .. considering the fact that bharti was the one who first made vodafone enter into india with it's tieup.. :P

@Imranais
Looks like they value old customers with 6yr+ relationship.If u stayed that long ,they probably wanna know how they managed to hold on to you and get ur 2 pence worth on the way they shld take ahead.
For me its been the same number since 2002,so I guess I'm a year down in seniority plus
I dont think they like me coz I complain a lot.... LOL

^^^Or Maybe because, I regularly give them feedback, bash them up, contact their higher ups for issues not being resolved and also bec i wanted to Disconnect few days back.................

as i see it. the launch was horrible. the website has many errors. Simple spelling errors have also not been rectified. There are many references to "Hutch" ( see Post paid tariff plans of Mumbai ).The Vodafone launch was dismal. Nobody noticed that Hutch was gone and Vodafone is here ;)Imran, do let me know if I can tag along with you. I've a lot of grievances that I need to tell the guys @ Vodafone.

Just go there and tell em to get their act straight.Probably Sarin is from the UK markets and understands that the customer is King and this may be his way of reaching out to the end userGhosh was content that he had got the customer and to hell with the service he dishes out

Imran, do let me know if I can tag along with you. I've a lot of grievances that I need to tell the guys @ Vodafone.

Surely when they call me for final confirmation on 26th, I would ask them if I can come along with a companion. Hope they dont say couple only, otherwise u will have to dress as female to get in:hysterical:..............

@Skorpio: I agree with you that in US and UK customer is king, companies try their ultimate best to keep customers satisfied, hope Vodafone changes the Level of Customer Service in India too.........

I am surprised she said you will get a pick n drop from ur residence and dinner would also be served, now thats a royal treatment to a customer, isn't it, never provided by anyone in India! :)
