my neighbour is using big tv for more than a yr; He's GM in reliance;
Installation is neatly done with clamps at every 1 foot; crystal clear picture quality with 200 channels thats with he's not paying a single penny!
I remember reading in the earlier posts that dth charges will be directly deducted from the salary for reliance employees. This was discussed when bigtv was doing the soft launch for employees. For one high in the hierarchy, the rules may be different.

They have to replace OLD (faulty) STBs with new one once they launch. I am using it and called CC for this and thats what they said that we will replace your STB (completely free of cost) and will give you a newer one which will not have any such problems you're facing at the moment.So, happy about it...

Why dont you ask your "GM" neighbor, when is it finally launching ?
let him enjoy his free viewing, if they launch it officially may be he will have to pay for it!
I think Reliance will wait till monsoon get over, because here in mumbai installation of dish antennas are not possible in rainy season; how can u use drilling m/c on wet wall?

bigtv have everything excellent quality, sound etc.. but also have lot of technical problems, they are working on it, so the public launch is not possible on 15th august. yesterday we have face heavy rain in delhi but the Bigtv is working nicely without any signal breakage, the other provider (Tata Sky) shown lost signal for 5 min. on that time.

Well.. its not about Delhi or any specific state... its about a whole india...We had a slightly heavy rain and lost signals. I reported a complaint too and they said, "Thank you for feedback. We appreciate your resonse to help us solve our faults. I will pass your feedback to concern department and we shall resolve it soon. We always welcome your experience and feedbacks. Thank you once again."Guys... dont get excited. Wait for few months.
