Friend lost his Galaxy S. So, needs something that is better than this model. Not interested in Karbonn or Micromax. HTC, Sony, Samsung would be fine. Comparison is with Galaxy S (first generation) so basically a budget model would do fine.---Another option is a second hand phone in good shape. Location is in Pune. Need a deal asap. So, if anyone from Pune on this forum wants to sell an Android device, he would be interested in listening to your offer.

The requirements are too high for the price point. You will have to extend your budget to atleast 16 - 17k. Try looking for Galaxy Nexus and Motorola Photon 4G. There's a listing on eBay for new Galaxy Nexus 32GB for 18k. I had seen listings for new Galaxy Nexus CDMA for 16k a month back, it's probably sold out.HTC Evo 3D is also worth considering, priced at around 16.5k on eBay.

I checked all of the devices you listed...except for motorola photon 4G.. :|theres a device called HTC One V and is priced at 6.5K.. :|Which is way to cheap...like almost 50%..lemme know what do you think of that!!

I am also stuck again with buying the new phone even after paying Rs 700 for repair for my N73 not reading the memory card again after one week of use it stopped. grr.I have been searching since yesterday and could only come up with Nokia 510 (cons: no flash otherwise would have bought it ) and Nokia 710 ( not worth it, too expensive ). HTC design I did not like that much.Samsung not a big fan of their delicate plastic phones but was looking at s2 unfortunately still is around 21K. I don't wanna go more than 15k

Can't find this deal on eBay. Probably the listing has ended. Never knew that One V had a CDMA version! There are listings on ebay for 14k which is a good deal. The only negative thing on One V is a less powerful GPU.

Imported from USA, but still a good deal. You better check with someone who can confirm this can be unlocked and registered here.
