Friend lost his Galaxy S. So, needs something that is better than this model. Not interested in Karbonn or Micromax. HTC, Sony, Samsung would be fine. Comparison is with Galaxy S (first generation) so basically a budget model would do fine.---Another option is a second hand phone in good shape. Location is in Pune. Need a deal asap. Specifications are quite promising. Warranty is an issue with pretty much all imported phones, you'll have to take that risk like I did by getting Motorola Photon 4G (US Cellular variant called Electrify) couple of months ago.

HTC devices are Tough..i can guarantee that...So warranty cannot be a mood breaker...I've unlocked many GSM phones...but haven't done a CDMA yet..!!
