Friend lost his Galaxy S. So, needs something that is better than this model. Not interested in Karbonn or Micromax. HTC, Sony, Samsung would be fine. Comparison is with Galaxy S (first generation) so basically a budget model would do fine.---Another option is a second hand phone in good shape. Location is in Pune. Need a deal asap. So, if anyone from Pune on this forum wants to sell an Android device, he would be interested in listening to your offer.

without warranty also lol

Specifications are quite promising. Warranty is an issue with pretty much all imported phones, you'll have to take that risk like I did by getting Motorola Photon 4G (US Cellular variant called Electrify) couple of months ago.

Wait a minute! Isn't that a GSM handset? But you're looking for a CDMA handset right?

that ebay deal for htc desire V at 6k is really tempting I am just wondering if it would arrive safely without having to deal with customs and problem of unlocking it. Plus no warranty either.that ebay deal for htc desire V at 6k is really tempting I am just wondering if it would arrive safely without having to deal with customs and problem of unlocking it. HTC devices are Tough..i can guarantee that...So warranty cannot be a mood breaker...I've unlocked many GSM phones...but haven't done a CDMA yet..!! :|
