When would Act Fibernet launch unlimited plans like Jio and Airtel?

Maybe they will bring unlimited plans to selected cities without increasing prices...
JioFiber is available only in very limited areas even within the cities where it is available. They are mainly targeting apartments and gated communities. My house is just beside a gated community, but jio is not interested to give the connection.

They have a post on their website from as recently as this year on why users "don't need" unlimited data plans. So I highly doubt that will change unless these 3.3TB data caps are phenomenally compelling to a vast swath of users.

Well, if they really think that most users don't use or need much data...then what's the problem in announcing the unlimited FUP plans.

We should be expecting some announcement in next 2 days.

I think they'll go with 500GB> 1,2,3,4TB FUP caps depending on plan pricing .

4TB for 1GBPS plan.

Note: ACT offers 1₹/GB in Chennai already, so not a big deal for other cities..

Even if they can't offer UL, if they want they can give good service, free Android box without forced dish, good low cost plans without forced costly installation with them, and a router that is actually useful. I don't know why they got so late with their announcement, but I ended up getting Airtel in the meanwhile and it would have been nice if I got good wifi router and a good Android box right out of the box instead of having to spend time and money on them. I don't really need so much data

" Users dont need unlimited "
" Users also don't need to pay more then 499 for high speed UL internet "

I think 3.3TB is the limit applied by TRAI.
