*
Also, Which is the best and hassle-free type/brand to cook daily?

There are brands like India gate, Jagat, Dawat, saffola with types like mogra, mini mogra, dubar, tibar, feast rozana, classic

The rice may be cooked either in pressure cooker or microwave.

aww. i have no idea. seriously. i would have asked my wife but i bet she has no idea too. she goes for the brand that has the best advertisements.

Same here :)
But honestly which is a better oil to consume(Sunflower, Soya, Groundnut etc) - from a health perspective & of course the Brand

Rice: At least in & around Bangalore also because my grandparents used to have a farm back in our village where rice etc was grown, we normally buy Rice directly from Farmers in our Village - Cheap & Best without any artificial or whatever. what matters most is the size of the grains & also the taste

Best oil healthwise : extra virgin olive oil Best oil tastewise : groundnut oil Best oil smell wise : soyabean oil use refined oil ... if you are too picky about your health... choose exv olive oil... but it is ridiculously expensive like 450rs ~ 300ml or so and its texture and smell dont appeal to many

no oil is best for health !! olive oil are buzz word these days but they are still an oil. The only advice I can give you is that use little oil in cooking food and exercise daily. :)

^ that is not factually correct my friend ... olive is considered healthy because it contains high levels of omega - 3 and omega - 6 fatty acids (monosaturated fats) and also antioxidants...

I don't buy stuff that is sold loose. Insects and hygiene issues... :(
