Why no Wifi 6E devices launched in India yet? Here's your answer:

hey @vishalrao I got the TP-Link TX50E Ax3000 Wi-Fi 6 PCI card from Amazon for around 4k, there are better ones out there. So to explain further, my Router is set to only broadcast 5Ghz named 5 and 6ghz named 6 ( the 2.4Ghz is kept off ). On Windows, I can only see the 5Ghz channel named 5 with a link speed of 2162/1441 (Mbps) when connected. On my S22 ultra, I can also only see the 5Ghz channel named 5 with 864 Mbps network speed roughly when connected, but when I connect to it from the phone (5Ghz > 5), it shows the small 6 number icon aside of the wifi icon ( Not 6e), which if I'm not wrong indicates wifi 6. The router does not have smart connect enabled.

2162Mbps is Wifi6. By IEEE Standards, 802.11AX is WIFI6 which works on 2.4 to 5G range and this is what the TX50E supports. To use the 6G range, you need a Wi-Fi 6E card.

How did you check the speed on your Android Device?
 
@CyrilDabs I'm confused... Do you have a WiFi 6 or 6E PCI card?

You wrote intel ax210 in your earlier post?
 
This was my confusion as well, but when I installed the card into the PC, windows identified it as Intel Wi-Fi 6E Ax210 160MHZ, this was also the same with the Intel Driver & Support Assistant. Have attached the screenshot

The indicated speed was Network speed which shows if you click on your wifi connection on the phone. ISP speed test was as per the ISP i am using
 
Hey @vishalrao have tried all options including old drivers etc, Windows 10 to 11 and back. But other than the one time ( Intial setup) I was able to use the 6Ghz it has not shown up again. Even did firnware upgrades to the router with region changes. I'm not sure if Intel or TP-Link has locked it. As my Samsung phone as discussed also cannot see Wifi 6Ghz
 
I guess it's being actively disabled due to not being allowed by indian regulations.
 
Try factory reset of router and initial setup for windows WITHOUT connect to internet?
