I have both Lumia 720 & Moto G. I like them both equally.
I'm contemplating on buying a tablet at some point. I'm considering both Nexus 7 (2013) and Acer iconia W4 820.
Whatsapp is a big disaster in WP, the beta has been updated with new features but public version is not yet LIVE with new features.
Never used Music App though

Biggest problem I have with windows phone is lack of file manager and notification center. Both have been solved in Windows 8.1
However Windows still lacks many useful apps and for that precise reason I'll wait another 1~2 years before trying out windows again. Chief example for me is lack of airdroid and Unified pc remote for windows. Not to mention tons of free games that are on android and iOS. There are alternatives in windows but they aren't as good as original apps.
Also there was an article saying windows can solve app problem by paying top 500~1000 app developers to develop for windows phone. They might burn through 500 million $ but they'll a lot of apps in return.
In Music player, I cannot skip to a particular location of a track using a slider. Such a basic feature gets left out. Instead we have to rely on keeping the next button pressed till the song fast forwards to the desired location.
There are no separate sound levels for Ringtones and Music. So if the music player is too loud and I bring down my earphone volume to 20/30, then the effect is systemwide. My phone ringtone will also sound at 20/30 and I may potentially miss few important calls due to low ringtone volume. But then If I increase Ringtone volume to 30/30, then everytime I have to remember to reduce volume before listening to music or my ear drums will blow off at 30/30 volume. (I heard this will be fixed in 8.1 update but who knows?)
I am actually bored of the UI.
I feel that my productivity level goes down. As I constantly have to google to do basic things on WP8 device.
WP8 App store sucks. (No it's not good or ok. It FREAKIN' SUCKS)
For me the first two points are epic deal breakers and hence I listen to my music only on Android or iOS device. I have even toyed with the idea of selling Lumia 520 for whatever credit the shop gives me and use the money to buy a battery backup for my Android.
