Two questions:
Can anyone tell me how much free space is needed for WP 8.1 update? I hardly have any space left.
Will the warranty be null and void if we update to WP 8.1 in this manner?

I see big changes in my phone after WP8.1 upgrade :D
- Action centre: Gives notification for all alerts like sms, email, app updates which are also available on Live Tiles. Action centre also have quick toggle shortcuts for WiFi, Location, Bluetooth, so by just touching shortcut button it can turn on/off. Action centre also has Network name and batter percentage.
- More Tiles Column: Addition column of Medium tile column. But useless for Lumia 620 and small screen phone as Tiles become very small.
- New Calendar UI: Calendar UI is changed and it also has option to display weather.
- Image as background for Tiles.
- New Store UI: UI for Store is changed completely
- Facebook inbuilt access gone? Perhaps live feed from Facebook may not be displayed in People app of Windows Phone. Instead it asks to try new app for FB. I am yet to check and update FB app.
- Battery Saver app: Shows power consumption by various apps.
- Games are also displayed in app list.
Some more changes which I will update later :)

Ok, so we can get updates from FB in People hub after updating FB app and granting permission through it.
While making call, now option for Skype call is displayed.
Windows Maps is also present with HERE maps (on Lumia).
Internet Explorer is also changed, perhaps its IE11 version.
Music and Video apps are now separate.
