From 10k to 8k , I doubt. Maybr 9k is a possibility.. or seeing the demand they may end up retaining 10k as well...

I am waiting for the Redmi note. I used three mediatek processor phones, and a qualcomm processor phone. I am happy with MTK processor.

I think MTK would be almost on par with Snapdragon SOc's as we have Android one on mtk chipsets.

MediaTek phones usually have bad GPS signals... Further the TRUE Octa-Core used in RedmiNote, heats like a oven, battery life drops like l00se m0tion... For proof, please google the Gsmarena's review of its battery life... Its talktime and standby time is good, but screen on time is very very low...
