I don't know what transpired. I wrote emails to Flipkart and Motorola few days back and as I checked now there is no monetary restriction for my pincode for any product!

Any idea what time will the phone be available for pre-order? I was under the impression that it will be launched today midnight but looking at the teaser image on their India FB page it appears the launch will be at 12 noon tomorrow.

Btw read this about service centres: Exclusive : Xiaomi will have service centers in India

Exclusive service centres in Delhi and Bangalore and multi-brand service centres in other cities.

The launch event is at Lodhi Hotel, Delhi tomorrow at 12pm. As per Xiaomi forums only metallic grey colour will be made available as of now and the phone will ship with Android 4.4 optimized with MIUI5
