I believe they put it in user's cart.

I do not think all 20000 users would buy it. They would definitely keep margin for non-buyers.

Have they revealed how many were actually bought out of those 20000 units? (or from previous rounds)

I bet actual figure would be much much less (and they wont disclose it), the figure 20000 is just a market hype!
