They had listed the 5200 mAh powerbank as 'permanently discontinued' till it went back on sale yesterday. So I am guessing these will be back on sale sometime in future.

Yes. They were showing "coming soon" tag in Mi3 (which in real was discontinued permanently), whereas in Mi power bank, they are showing "permanently discontinued"...
