i have Tata Sky plus .the reception is of a very poor quality and during rains is absolutely not there. right now we have a TV that is a showpiece coz cant view anything... no reception. have called tatasky ppl from 12/7/12 to 20/7 /12, 5-6 times all they say is our team wll get back to you. you will get a call in 2 hrs, which becomes 24 hrs and then 48 hrs but even after 5 days i.e.12 hrs no reply from their side. i have requested them to disconnect their services as it is not satisfactory but they are deaf to all my request. they are just out to make money . will call u umpteen times for payment. wll harass u like dogs, but for service they r not there. are u tata sky ppl listening or should we suggest some good ENT specialist to cure your deafness? HOPE THIS WAKES THEM FROM THEIR SLUMBER.

dude. pointless to crib. there is nothing that is even vaguely termed as DTH disconnection. You just wait for your subscription to end. Throw the box out and get a new DTH connection.

I am not sure if you want any help with escalating the matter or technical help.
I see from your first post that there is no reception, so that could be due to a slightly mispositioned dish or a faulty lnb, wiring issue. I usually connect a satellite signal meter to peak up the signals while aligning whenever the signal levels fall due to dislocation of the dish.

This little device comes for about Rs300, but proves very useful to rectify the fault whenever the signal is lost due to misaligned position of dish.
