mine is an old Hutch connection in which i can call 5 numbers for 1 Rupee per min and national sms for 25 paise.Weekly rental of 7 Rs needs to be paid.anyways there is always a 75 e recharge in which u can make calls anywhere in India for 1 rupee per min(both mobile and landline)

i said that there is no promo pack which makes the cost of STD less than re. 1 whether in billing or prepaid.

^^ True. I am waiting for a reduction in STD tariff. Something like 50p/min.

I dont see it happening soon, Anyways TATA has lauched 50 p STD for their users( postpaid)..its know as corridors pack or something like that.for example there is south coridor packs in which u can call all the states in south india for 50p per min and north india corridor packs for north india users...But, there is no plans for west and east india..
