this seems interesting. they seem to be going for every cloud service out there. having a local cloud with your isp could possibly provide a better alternative to Dropbox/drive/onedrive for a lot of people if implemented properly.
airtel had all the time in the world to spread an extensive fiber network around the country. they didn't so they would now play a catchup game with jio. for a looong time.
personally i am still impressed that jio has same plan for all the regions in the country. i do not think any other player has done this.
I think LCO will provide live tv channels with coaxial cable.
Airtel acted like shit heads and abused their dominance. When they had a monopoly over an area, they'd choke you out with terrible plans compared to what they'd be offering in a more competitive area. Their differential pricing killed it for them. Meanwhile other ISPs such as ACT, etc. expanded their network and obliterated Airtel.
people researching individual plans. please consider starting threads for your own so that they can be discussed individually perhaps? this thread is soon going to become a dump on everything which means that any useful information basically gets lost in the void.
