Had they charged Rs1000 non refundable installation charges? Or full money will be refund after disconnection?

Now they are taking only 2500 only.
I paid 4500 2 months back. After fighting, now they converted 2500 and adding 2000 to balance for feature recharges.

only 1500 is refundable. 1000 is taken for installation. ( including old customers also).
(1500 also based on refund time. If you refund 6 months or after 1 year, may be refund amount changes. It will update after few days)

The sales guy said full money was refundable.

They don’t know fully.
Only 1500 is refundable. Talk to higher person they will tell.

At first sales guy said, it will take 1 year to announce plans and till that time it’s free(he said on mid aug 2019).That’s how they are giving connections.
They have targets. So they are telling all these.

So those old preview customers who paid ₹2500 will get only ₹1500 as refund ?

@Vishal | Chennai You'll get the refund for whatever you paid in lieu of the security deposit. If they have charged you 1500 for the security deposit, you'll get the same.

All those who have paid 4500 in the past in lieu of security deposit and have invoice slips, they can claim the entire amount as a refund. The invoice slip say's it all. It's just a matter of showing your proofs to be able to prove your point.

Just now contacted CC regarding deposit money refund they told those customers who opt connection from September 5 will get only ₹1500. Rest of the old customers will get what ever they paid as refund.

If you would have claimed the entire amount, you would gotten the same. They have now just put you into the new plan regime charging 1000 for the installation and issuing you a partial refund and legally maintaining their stand of issuing you a 1500 refund in the near future and setting you back by 1000

Jio area manager came to my friends house in a neighboring colony. He says migration to paid plans wont happen for another 60 days minimum and that most probably it will get delayed into 2020. Also that new plans will come with much more data and speed after data cap finished will be 15 Mbps and not 1 Mbps. His exact words were 'site pe jhoot likha hai'
