How to sideload apps on Reliance Jio Fiber Android set-top box?

Got my STB today, tried to install jio tv apk but it seems like the box is locked or whatever i am not able to enable the "unknown sources" thing in the settings.

Yes. Plan has got nothing to do with the STB you get. Just got the hybrid STB on the bronze plan.

As for Netflix i have managed to get a basic version up and running.

Does Jio STB (without cable Tuner) work with Non-Jio internet broadband like bsnl FTTH or copper broadband, Airtel V-fiber, or your local lco broadband?
Anybody practically test it?

Dont know about the non-hybrid version but the hybrid version as of now is working on other networks also. In my case its connected via lan to Jio ONT and via wifi to Airtel ADSL.

@cyberwiz can you watch 4K in netflix by any chance ? The box has l1 certification @legionsunited91 why Plex when you have Kodi with Plex addon. It’s better than Plex media player.

Tested all these apps on my Chinese android box
Jio tv plus works flawlessly but have to login everytime I close the app works even with jio no that doesn't have jio fiber linked with it

Jio Saavn Sony LIV Voot all works perfect
Live tv jio store app just blanks out
