@ponnitheunreal Thanks for your reply. I went through both your review and other posts so I dont bother you unnecessarily :). But I am still having doubt if the TV switches to 4K resolution when you play 4k video let it be through Plex or youtube? Can you pls check if your TV shows the HDMI input being 4K when 4k content is playing? My TV info shows 1080p 50Hz always irrespective of when youtube 4K video is played in official youtube app. My suspicion is that set top box could be down scaling it to 1080p and sending it to TV so TV recognizes it as 1080p only. Thus we are really not watching 4k HDR content even though app reports content as 4K... :(. If this is true then "4K" has no meaning for this set top box unless someone can figure out how to force HDMI output to 4K instead of 1080p (and also force 60Hz instead of native 50Hz)...
 
@milansadaria dude.... the youtube what you see is actually not official app... install smart youtube via apk. then play any 4k song as you see in my post.... or have a good 4k movie in pen drive then playback through Kodi or any vlc etc and see the quality

also no ads in smart youtube
 
On another note , since 2 days , I am experiencing buffering on live channels. Yesterday was so bad that none of the line channels were loading. Today they are loading but they buffer now and then for 3-5 seconds. Is everyone experiencing the same issue ?
 
The quality is on auto. I haven’t changed anything. Let’s wait and watch for prayers to be answered 😆

What is up with weird video format in some of the channels like DD News and News 18? CNBC Awaaz Comedy Central HD are fine but some of the channels don't fill up the screen completely.
