So today morning slowness issues (just browsing/downloading, i dont game) started for my connection too here in Pune. It was fine till last night.

Again same issue ongoing, speeds to international servers very low. Youtube working fine.

It seems 600 odd olt infected by malware, bsnl requesting all the lco's to secure olt by ssh keys

Yeah someone sent me a pic of the request on whatsapp... What is your source, can you post more info on this?

I have been facing same high packet loss issue from the day 1 of BSNL FTTH connection,. They are not interested in solving problem. I tried everything, calling local BSNL office, customer care and Twitter. but they just don't care.

@airforce , maybe something related to this 'fix'... Since last 1y (since i got FTTH) my pings to servers in mumbai and chennai have varied by quite a lot. eg initially, ping to chennai was between 50 to 80. Since approx last 3 months, ping was > 100, sometimes > 150 and unplayable. But I checked yesterday and today and its a steady 30 :D . This is for the 117.205.x.x ip range in tvpm. And I'm connected via an LCO.

Netflix speed was limited to less that 30mbps also. Now it server test shows speed as full 100 mbps. (This was resolved about 2-3 weeks before.)

So today again all day have been facing intermittent issues in website connectivity, it works for some time then for a few seconds websites don't open and rinse and repeat. Also got a 59.x.x.x series IP which indicates failover to backup system.

my friend has same issue with BSNL broadband last year ( not fibre ) and this was all routing issue with a specific IP range , so he just mailed to nearest NIB , and got a call from NIB team and they changed the IP .
