Ok Guys, my state nodal officer has asked me to wait for today, he said that the team is doing some changes which should be completed by today, this is in response to the complaint filed on pgportal.

Now it remains to be seen how far this is true or not, if it is true is it older for me because I filed a complaint or it is for all the users

Personally I will take his claim with a grain of salt.

@Xposed can I file a complaint too? I had nextra broadband and we are calling them from last 6 months for the disconnection and security refund but didn't even get a single response from them. Even nodal officer didn't respond to the mail.

I am not defending Jio. Reliance is generally known for questionable business practices.
All I am saying is you guys paid for a plan with 10% upload speed. If they upgrade it, great. If not, don’t get worked up and just use what you willingly paid for earlier.
Totally my point too. They are upgrading it for free - it’s a good thing. They have not denied symmetric speed either. Just need to have patience. Maybe they really have some technical issues. We should followup wirh cc to keep pushing them but dragging them to pgportal and cussing them is not necessary.

We should wait for sometime. There might be some technical issues. Jio will not backtrack on their promise to existing users because everything is in public domain. Whatever they announced in last 1 week got extensive media coverage and if they decide not to fullfill their promise then questions will be raised by public and media .

This is false hopes. In my area they are activating trial offers daily. Even my tenant got theirs done today itself. So he just lied to get you off his back.
I knew that guy very well and i think i can believe him 1)he told me about new plans one day before official release.
2) Even when my was location was not served by jio fibre then also he laid fibre cable for 100 metres bypassing company policy.
