Help Needed to buy a new ADSL2+ modem Router

This is using my old binatone and Netgear set up.

My Asus was using channel 3.

Some improvement in stability and speed.But still lots of difference in the Asus and the old Netgear set up.

Run a ping -t to the router and post the result.

ping 192.168.1.1 -t

If 192.168.1.1 is not your router IP, replace accordingly.

Quite a few bad values there. How long has the issue persisted? Tried updating firmware?

Started few days back.Actually i use my laptop in the room the router is in.Because of some reason i have to now use the laptop in the adjacent room.There was some speed loss initially which is expected but this huge fluctuation in speed has started from last few days.There are times when i cant even access the router using 192.168.1.1.
