100 mbps speed limit on Excitel LAN

I have 300 mbps plan on Excitel and got the 2000 security deposit ONT which is the GX (Genexis) EARTH 4222 which claims to have 4 GE (Gigabit Ethernet) ports according to their manual. Upon connecting LAN with my laptop which has a Qualcomm Atheros AR8171/8175 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller (NDIS 6.30), the speed is limited to 100 mbps. I have tried changing the Speed & Duplex setting in the adapter options but there's no option for 1 gbps in there. I have also tried uninstalling and updating the LAN drivers, still no luck. I am also using a CAT 7 cable so that eliminates the possibility of the cable being a bottleneck. Anyone else facing the same problem?

You could try forcing Gbit in NIC Settings in device manager

Have you tried connecting on all 4 ports of the ONT one by one and check that all are giving lower speeds?

Try checking on the router interface itself if all port are not providing speeds above 100Mbps and check for lan duplex, it should be set on auto.

I tried the ports on extreme left and right, but the middle one gave me 1 gbit, thank you for helping me out.

so the other 2 ports are faulty? you may wanna contact excitel for a replacement
