Hi ACTIan, can you please provide the update on whether the service is available in Girinagar, hanumanthnagar and surrounding areas. You had mentioned tat the service will be available around last week of April.

Hi Vijay, there was a delay and Hanumanth Nagar will go thru this month (May).

Finally,

After 5 days of torture and frustration, my internet connection was restored.

I hope it works for some day now and not for just 1 day again.

And I would just like to give 1 suggestion to ACT, if a customer is complaining about something, give proper response and visit their place the very same day...

And don't give false promises and make stupid excuses.

I am happy once again.

Thanks ACTian and I hope, I have a good experience with ACT in future.

Hi Nishant

Thanks for your feedback, the field team has been instructed very clearly to honour the commitments.

will ensure the same is followed.

Hi ACTian,
I am very much interested in taking an ACT BB. Please let me know if you have BB reach in Marathalli area? Especially in flats within Purva Fountain Square, as that is where I live?

Hi Sukant, we will start the operations during first of June at Fountain Square.

ACTianI live in Gokula Extension which is near Mathikere, Bangalore.I've been in touch with your representatives about internet here. They said it'd be up end of March.I realise things can be slow and I have not taken up this connection as yet, but I'm not ready for the kind of drama and difficulty and all the horror stories (as would any consumer)I am thinking about switching to ACT and I have had enough problems with bad service from BSNL who have to date not been able to fix my problems with accessing secure websites (before anyone can advise me... I'm pretty sure I've tried everything under the sun but with 3 different computers connected to the house even the BSNL technician has conceded there is just some problem with the connection)I don't want any of these problems. I am sick of it. I just want to pay for a good internet connection and that's that. Can you make it happen? If so, when? What can I expect for the money I pay?I am very serious about this and you seem to be someone who personally handles the problems. I have faith in an organization providing advanced services even if the customer support is a bit off. I don't want to go through it again. Please let me know.

@ACTian : thanks for the update. Just wanted to know, whether the Girinagar and hosakerahalli areas will be covered while covering Hanumanthnagar?

Hi, its been a month since I have applied for ACT broadband connection. Every time I call they say they will call back in 15 mins. After 1 hour I had to call again and the reply is they will give the connection in a day or two. They are quick in collecting the money, as a person (name: Babu rao, ph: 9538883058) came with in 1 hour and collected the money saying that the connection and activation process will be completed in 5 days. After 10 days when asked him (Babu rao) to cancel the application and refund the money, he said he is initializing the cancellation process and the refund takes 1 week, after telling many lies in a rude manner. Today (a month later) one lady called, claiming that she is calling from ACT customer care, saying that the connection will be activated in 2-3 days. When I asked for refund she said that the refund will take 10 days.It seems that these people are cheating claiming that they provide broadband services. I should have taught before, if companies like Airtel are not able to provide at this cost, how can these? Also it is quite possible that the positive reviews might be written by themselves, to fool the readers. I suggest all readers to beware of these guys.

Not true. They do provide the speeds they promise

Hi as posted earlier in the blog, AECS layout got delayed due to local cable operator issue and we have started the work recently. I will ensure your account is activated in the next 2 days if not the payment will be refunded with in 48 hrs. Said that have already requested Babu Reddy to be in touch with you and update you the status.

Btw request NOT to use such harsh words, would suggest you to experience our broadband speed and comment on the facts.

My conversation with Babu after 10 days of filling the application is as follows:

I called him:
me: can you tell me status of application for broadband from 1449, AECS
Babu: call you back in 15 mins

After 1 hr I called him again - (As he has not called back):
me: you told me that you will call back in 15 mins
(Till now every thing went politely)

Babu: Why would I call when the connection can't be given now and will take some time
(Rude behavior from your person and will irritate any customer)

me: I asked you for status and it is your responsibility to call and inform, also, if the process is delayed you have to inform proactively

Babu: An sms has been sent to all customer that the connection and activation process has been delayed
(This is a unnecessary and blatant lie)

me: If you can not give the connection as promised, why have you promised?

Babu: That is marketing

Me: Its a mistake from my side to apply for act broadband after reading reviews in blogs

----------------------------------------

After having this conversation with Babu (who is representing ACT to me) I think I have explained my situation and feelings about act in a very polite manner.

After this event I also tried calling ACT customer care 3 times which always asks the caller to wait and it happens indefinitely.

Then I mailed asking for status of my application. No reply till today.

Today, I got a reply just because I am making facts about act public.

BTW, Thank you, at least you have replied
