Yes I tried it & it worked fine for me. I opted for 2mbps@Rs120/hr I was getting 160KB/s which was little slower than expected. Logged in for 5min then i deactivated. Airtel charges Rs10 per 5minutes. Its 5min pulse. So its a cheap trial, you can try it if you are curious about it.

Thanks andyz. Will try it out. Though 160 kB/s for 2mbps? Thats not even close! Should be at least 200+ ..

tried out the BOD service.. works fine. was hitting ~230 kB/s (~1840 kbps) on average. Deactivated nicely too. Now lets hope airtel doesnt screw up the billing...I guess its fine for sudden bursts of speed, if you need it. Some people do. But definitely not recommended for sustained downloads at Rs. 120/hour

yeah me too zewarrior. Though it did work last night. Guess they are still tweaking the service. But its really sad that a company like Airtel will introduce a service like this without properly testing it first. tells you how pathetic their tech department is now

take care that u unsubscribe it, otherwise it will go on billing....I asked CC - what will happen if my light goes off before i unsubscribe it - i'll continue to be billed till i manually unsubscribe it....BEWARE, Be Cautious..... Advisory Advised.......... :hysterical:
