yeah they promised up to 50% faster data speeds for RedX customers over standard subscribers, and honestly I have zero issues with that. pay more, get more - that's how tiered networks work globally. China Mobile does slicing at massive scale, AT&T has Turbo plans, this isn't some novel concept.
my house has terrible coverage across all providers. was sitting at 8-10 Mbps earlier, now consistently hitting 50 Mbps on Airtel postpaid priority. upload is still garbage but that's a whole other thread. net-net, pretty happy with the upgrade.
primary number is Jio which is basically unusable at home - no data, voice is sketchy, limping along on WiFi calling. Vi has decent signal but I refuse to go back after they charged me INR 894 in roaming fees (149/month) just for SMS abroad. no other Indian operator does that. So Airtel postpaid priority it is for now.
