Airtel's 512kbps Unlimited Plan

As promised by AirTel, today i was upgraded from 256 UL to 512 UL & I am getting full speed downloads at 60 - 62 kbps, even on torrents (only when u have good quality seeders)

its sounds good..the cost 1599/- is it all the taxes included..if not its on the expensive side..

No, Rs. 1599 doesn't include taxes, but its still better than Rs.1999 (again not including taxes) which is the regular tariff for the 512 UL plan, i got this price as a special offer for existing customers.I am getting around 60 - 62 both upload & download speed (including on torrents)

This only I was thinking ..that how you get 512 Kbps speed @Rs. 1599..because when I was at Airtel,it was @Rs. 1999/-,.

Between,can I know how you are special customer of airtel.

I think u missed my post in the previous page, few days back i got a call from AirTel guys that there is a special upgrade offer where i would be offered a 20% discount on the regular tariff on the 512 UL plan for the next 12 months if i upgrade now from 256 UL plan, & I took it

Yeah, they are known to do such things, a couple of months back they offered new customers in Mumbai double speeds for Home 999 for an entire year!They will offer it to you, you can't ask for it from them.

Can the other users of 512 UL plan confirm on your upload speed!!I am getting around 30 KBps for the last 24 hours (download speed is OK though), was working fine on sunday & monday moring!!!EDIT: It was a problem with the torrents, its all OK now!
