after much harrasment from bsnl today i shifted to alliance broadband.i have taken their 384kbps unlimited package for Rs699/month
this is the speed that i am getting

its max speed is 640kbps (640 kilobits per seconds and 640kbps=80kb/s)while the banner shows it to be 352kb/s=2816kbps....
Viz not very common in india.but if u have that lucky u

640/8=80KB/SEC not kb/sec you stupid guy and 352kb/sec means 352kbps means 352/8=44KB/SEC

can anyone please help me as i am receiving very slow download speeds.mine is 4mbps plan from sigma but isp is showing alliance.

well it is impossible only for you to figure it out, for you Kilobits = Kilobytes = kb/s

Kilobytes/second = KB/s
Kilobits/second = kb/s

get it...

They are now offering the plan you are using at my location. Apart from that, very bad latency.. Am planning to switch back to BSNL in a few days
