Amazon AppStore for Google Android (Now available in India)

but these shops are different !!!
its not that you make one app and sell that to all app store. You have to recreate/ redesign product acording to need of particular store...and platform matters !!

for different platform its all together different thing but what i had written considering the same platform ..

like for android app there are official google market then now Amazon and B&A has there own market .. for these market developer don't need to design separate app they can list the same app over there .. so its advantage for developer ...

fine...I was actually talking about different platforms...
I dont know the purpose of Amazon, as why they want to go into android for selling apps..
want to eat some % share of android marked? :haha:

android always wins on this...the independence you would get into android is non-comparable

Amazon is betting huge on the android platform.

they have this app store right now.

and they are soon going to have their own self-branded tablet pcs.

and we are soon going to see deals between amazon and manufacturers where amazon app store would replace the google android market as the default app store on their devices.

it is just like the default search engine feature of the phone... amazon would pay to become the default app store on devices from partner manufacturers.

in the long run, it is a pretty solid revenue source...

this is also a great alternative for those manufacturers (think about china based companies) who are offering devices with android but are not allowed to use google branded apps. they would now be able to offer a reputed app store on their devices.

mmm... they cannot do anything. android allows this type of freedom... verizon in usa is in fact loading their android devices with microsoft bing as the search engine. it also comes loaded with bing powered services.

google does not care. as long as you use their search engine and apps use admob for advertising, they are getting what they want.

most people would change their search engine service provider to google anyways. no matter how hard microsoft tries to promote bing.
