Apple App Store Debit Cards

Debit cards issued by which banks work with App Store? I tried Axis' but even after a successful authorization charge, it was declined and HDFC's isn't accepted at all.

I believe the app store only accepts credit cards

People have reported that IDBI's debit card works so that got me wondering. Anyways, thanks.
