electricity situation is as bad. here in india, you pay more per unit if you consume more. never made sense. of course, it looks good on paper that people consuming less units get charged less for these units.

It will be interesting to see not only average consumption but median consumption also. I believe that median consumption will be substantially lower that average consumption, thanks to 'data hogs' like us.

Don't worry, I have found a novel way of punishing the companies which I want to punish. I simply click on their online banners so that they 'pay' to the host. I am sure there will be many people like me.
