Thanx...will try that out. one more thing - the port for USB on the back of the modem doesn't look like a normal USB port that is found on the PC. So do I need a different type of cable? (am a noob in these matters!)

Ask airtel for usb cable for 200bx, they wiil give you the cable.

Airtel has stopped giving out the USb cable along with the Modem/Router... when i called CC.. They informed me that i will have to buy the USB cable if i want !

the USB port at the back of 220bx is the way it should be the USB cable doesn't have identical ends.
You can very well connect 2 PCs with the 220bx (one with USB and other with LAN) just remember to enable the DHCP in 220bx.
To enable DHCP goto http://192.168.1.1/ click on LAN and then enable DHCP, save/reboot.

Thanks. Downloaded for forum use. You could have added Beetel in the title.
So if somebody searches for Beetel this firmware update will be accessed.
There are 395 files under "modem " and most of them do not have proper title/s.
