Best Android Smartphone today for around Rs. 20,000

A cousin is looking and the best option I could find was Google Nexus S for Rs. 19999 on Flipkart.

Any other alternatives?

Nexus S is a better phone. the only advantages of SL are 720p video recording and gorilla glass.

Nexus S got Gingerbread, LED Flash and Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen while Samsung Galaxy SL doesn't.

Apart from that I don't see any reason why you cannot prefer SL.

the 20K model does not have super amoled. and i am pretty sure nexus s has gorilla glass.

and i still do not see why i 'would' prefer SL?

Nexus S has a better GPU. Also gets updates first. The Indian version of Nexus S doesnt have a super AMOLED screen.

External card slot, Video : 720p@30fps, 1650 mAh battery etc etc.I am not that good comparing phones but I think you should check Galaxy SL too.

Galaxy Sl is overpriced. Motorola Defy has similar features for a cheaper price.
