There have been so many new router releases, I was wondering which router is the best router in 2024 for stable Openwrt experience.
It has to be gigabit supported router

@Sanemi I had Archer A7 as my main router with mwan3 load balancing BSNL ftth and airtel 4g for 6 months.
Then I had a Pi 4B as an openwrt router, load balancing BSNL FTTH and airtel 5g.
Now I got aa new Netgear router and have flashed Openwrt on it.
I have also purchased a Nanopi r4s plus.
I think the Nanopi will do the job I want well lol

The r4s is good. Costs as much as a Pi 4b but comes with two ethernet ports and it's own casing. Btw what will you do with the Pi now?

well I already have 2 Pi4b's.
that pi is now a network monitor cum tailscale subnet router/exit node, so it is being used well
I also bought a Pi 5 😂

@Sanemi it is a router. A proper OWRT router. Works as advertised. Does everything I want it to do. In a small cute tiny form factor. You need a seperate wifi accesspoint to have more lan ports and wifi, otherwise it is just soo good. Sorry for late response

@deepakdcg yes sure, gregoryhouse94 at telegram
