u potentially can. what the client does is p@$$ on the values to some ip or something which a web-based interface can also do. some geek has to trace the data transfer. i have a .net programmer friend who recently got sify in delhi and he hated it on day #1. think he would comeup with something.and u can be sure i would make it available here.
the g33k friend who has the capability of slicing apart the sify broadband client like a surgeon is on a flight from UK to India at this very moment. i am waiting for him to check the sify's idiotic client.
