just another misunderstanding by an over optimistic user.read the ad carefully.there will be some fine print which will confirm that you are not going to get 2mbps UL for Rs.570 or 750 or for that matter 5700/7500.

i think it would mean that there are different plans of unltd 256 kbps - 2 mbps starting at rs. 570 for 256 kbps.

I think this is what it is....
2 mbps UL for Rs.570 is still a pretty long time from now....

it is possible that the plan is for evdo..i asked the bsnl officials abt evdo but for now they dont understand this term

In Baroda, BSNL sent around brochures advertizing UL 750 with speeds of 256 upto 2mbps.
Thats what they mentioned in the fliers.

So I went to the office - they dumbass employees had no clue what was going on and had no idea about the plans (which is not surprising).
I changed the plan from NightUnlimited 500 to the 750 one yesterday.

Today my friend called up some bsnl engineers and they said that there is not such change in the plans.
According to them, UL 750 is strictly 256 kbps only.

Which means I'm ****ed. I got to go back to the office now and somehow get my plan changed back to home500.

as someone mentioned, it may be surely for EVDO connection as it comes around 570 !so... dont expect ADSL speed @ 2mbps unlimited for 570 !
