i just conveyed the msg on the hoardings..the rest is how you cook the msg..take it as rumour...or....i think 256kbps UL will be reduced to 570

Do not compare mtnl and bsnl. Both are different, independent comapanies. Both have policies and tarriff's, independent of each other.

These are basically data user plans and not for voice use. For voice + data use one needs to have the Combo 500 256kbps/Up to 2MBPS Plan with 1.5 and 2.5 GB usage of Rs. 500/- and Rs. 600/- respectively with additional charges over and above the allowed usage @80paisa/MB. I have the Startup 256kbps 1GB Usage Plan. I wonder if I can use it for voice chat over my Yahoo IM.:O
