BSNL has been capping my line rate at 4mbps since a couple of months. I have tried all online sources of complaining yet the guy comes home every time, runs a video on youtube and says everything is perfect. When I try showing him the line stats on the router's IP address he's mad at me for opening that page, as if I committed some crime. Anyways, I tolerated this last month but not anymore. I tweeted them today, filed a complaint on 1500 and got an update that it would take 2-3 days to restore the connection( it's working fine except at 4mbps instead of advertised speeds). Last time they got an excuse that I have exhausted 10GB due to which speed is low, so this time I have switched off my router and waiting for them to confirm the fix.
How do I make them understand to update the port speed? Can anyone tell whom to contact at the local BSNL office, this time either I get the advertised speeds or switch my operator, nothing in between.
