BSNL - EVDO - Usage - Review and everything about it

Hey guys,

Sorry if this topic is discussed previously but i couldn't find it(yet). I have a query regarding Bsnl evdo recharge. From the following months i was doing recharge of topup Rs 825 and internet started without an issue. But i wanted to ask can i directly recharge for Rs 750 or 760 from Paytm to get my unlimited plan working? Yesterday i called customer service and they told me that Rs750 unlimited plan can only be activated by BSNL office. Is this true? If no then after recharging for 750 i will get main balance of 750 or some amount will be deducted? So if i recharge for 750 unlimited plan will automatically gets activated or i have to sms something to order to activate it.

if u r using evdo general plan than u can recharge form Paytm/freecharge/mobikwik stv ₹825
if u r using bundel plan (auto debited plan)
den u have to maintain ur balance in positive u can do topup with 750+

Is topup plan is general plan? Well i want to switch to bundel plan so my question is if i recharge Rs760 from paytm will i get 760 of main balance? And last thing after recharging for 760 the Unlimited plan will activated automatically or i have to message something?

if u r using topup den ur plan is bundle plan
in general plan u have to recharge special recharge
yes if u r using topup of 760
u will get balance in ur main balance
( and automatically deduct ₹750 affter every 30 days by bsnl if ur plan is bundel plan)
in bundel plan no need of any msg
bsnl deduct ₹750 affter every 30 days

I had bought reliance 3 netconnect but it barely get any signal so I m thinking to try evdo so can I use evdo SIM in reliance datacard if yes how. I m from Bhopal MP

By Reliance 3 Netconnect, are you referring to the Pro3 data card from reliance?

No its not pro 3 it has Max download speed up to 3.1 Mbps model is zte AC2739 black in color very basic in design

BSNL evdo only works in one zte modem. I don't remember the model number, has been posted somewhere on thr forum. It wasn't this one though.

Guys I have a small doubt. I bought an Evdo device yesterday in Chennai and got the Prithvi device. When i connect the device to my laptop it gets detected for a few seconds and then disconnects . This process repeats. My RUIM is yet to be activated. Have I received a faulty device or will it work normally once my account has been activated
